With the fervent hope that accordion master and all-American goofball Weird Al can bridge the seemingly uncrossable cultural divide between our two nations, Oliverâs Hail Mary musical missiveâcomplete with Weird Alâs messages of peace and the fact that Americans are really too self-involved and âmostly harmlessâ to bother invading North Koreaâfinds Al (picture of universally beloved Tom Hanks unfurling behind him) singing and squeezing as if all our lives depended on it.
Liberals honestly believe the American empire is "mostly harmless"
i feel like it's been a big thing in the united states as long as i've been alive that a lot of people there don't see the correlation between being allowed to not care about major world events and how many foreigners their government kills every year and think the former means the latter is made up instead of the latter being the necessary condition for the former

Service members from Japanâs Self Defense Forces (JSDF) and US Marines Third Division began the drills, dubbed Northern Viper 17 (NV-17), in the Japanese city of Eniwa on Wednesday.
Some 3,500 troops are taking part in the 18-day war games, which will include rocket artillery exercises and other live-fire operations.

The united states, an imperialist nation which has obliterated at least three sovereign states in recent decades, currently lead by hot-headed mentally ill former television star Donald J. Trump, displays awesome offensive military firepower during the largest live fire exercise conducted with the unapologetic Japanese state.
(North) Korea, first colonized by the Empire of Japan in the pre-war period, then invaded by anti-communist American forces in the post war period, who has never invaded a foreign state and has only fought for its sovereignty, conducts a hydrogen bomb test on its own soil. A bomb first developed in 1952, and makes up of approximately .01% of the current worldwide nuclear arsenal.
It's hard to say what we should do. Should we invade North Korea? Yes. I believe the answer is yes. And here are my reasons:
1) When that tourist in North Korea video taped those people in the car dealership I noticed how the clerk was having an imaginary conversation with one of the customers. It made me very uncomfortable.
2) sounds like they got a bad case of the botulism

Fred and Cindy Warmbier told US TV networks on Tuesday that their son had showed signs of torture, including teeth that appeared to have been ârearrangedâ and hands and feet that were disfigured.
...
But Sammarco, who examined Warmbierâs body after his death in June, said there was no clear evidence of physical torture â including no recently broken bones or damaged teeth.
âWeâre never going to know, unless the people who were there come forward and say: âThis is what happened to Otto.ââ
Warmbierâs body displayed a few small scars, all but one of which could be traced to medical instruments, she said, adding that the Warmbiersâ TV interviews had prompted her to publicly reveal her findings.
âTheyâre grieving parents. I canât really make comments on their perceptions,â she added.
