its ok, they paid me well all summer and there was a really good thai place nearby that i went to like every day, i have already been well compensated for my sins

Why would the fact that you got paid to do bad things absolve you from them, I would think that'd make it worse

Hearing the words "You've been let go" is never easy. Change is always scary. But consider the following - Anybody who ever built an empire, or changed the world, sat where you are now. And it's because they sat there that they were able to do it.

i miss the feeling of absolute intellectual superiority to everyone around me but eventually i realized the people around me weren't actually unintelligent but just didn't care or know how to change anything and then i felt depressed and stupid

so does staying in a place, as an intelligent person, knowing nothing will ever get better or change and there's no reason to bother caring about any of it, mean you're still actually intelligent? is submission to the void of modern life something worth putting a positive adjective on

i don't believe in absolution, forgiveness is a social benefit and i have already received enough benefits for my "work"

Ahh this explains your defence of chomsky’s complicity in evil

i worked at a credit union for one day and then got a better job offer and left. it was probably really rude, but i opened up an opportunity for someone to get that Job
#141
i should just start working for a bank. it's like the capitalist equivalent of a planning office anyway. i can make a good wage and donate money to mainstream political parties.
#142
it doesn't seem much worse than any other empty white collar bullshit, so far
#143
i got a new Spurs 9fifty today. how much money do you guys spend at lids and other hat vendors a year? I personally spend about 500 dollars , or 30-70 dollars a month.

today @ my job i was forced to review 20 photographs that included a dead guy's dick because his friend drunk drove him into a pole and now his dad is suing the bar where they got hammered that night.

i may have to exhaustively question the survivors on photographs of their dead friend's dick in the future.

i'm lucky that this is my job.

I have a job and I don't really care about it that much. i wish i could wave a magic Care wand over my head but theres not a whole lot of hope anywhere, especially at the job. how many more weeks will it be, feeling the same old emotions, degenerating physically until every moment outside of work is dedicAted to maintenance and rest? anyway I took off today and am going to get a tan, laterz
