The National Institute would take the form of a physical innovation cluster focused around a Catapult Centre-style hub for late stage R&D collaboration and commercialised research, co-locating academia and industry to work on projects in AI and AI-operated robotics. This would provide a focal point for the UK’s AI and robotics ecosystem to attract further investment in the same way that the City of London has for centuries acted as the focal point for finance.

rename this forum to "physical innovation cluster focused around a Catapult Centre-style hub for late stage R&D collaboration and commercialised research"

Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce. Caussidière for Danton, Louis Blanc for Robespierre, the Montagne of 1848 to 1851 for the Montagne of 1793 to 1795,

cats shouldn't die. the concept should be introduced to them, and they should all unanimously get the big saucer eyes and attack the concept, clawing it and giving it the little rabbit kicks until it runs away, ensuring that the spiky fluff thing will live forever out of sheer gumption

my grandmas' ancient farmcat Wussface lived to be 26, an outdoor cat his entire life. he was the ugliest god damn animal i've ever seen in person, so ugly he repelled death itself. an enormous long haired orange tabby, he gave up cleaning himself around 15 years old and instead accumulated an armour shell of petrified crusty cat dreads and scabs. each year the harsh farm winters took more bits and pieces of his ears from frostbite until all that was left were weird fuzzy scar stubs. he lost half of his tail to a scuffle with a coyote. he was also a complete sweetheart who would get all cuddly and drool like a firehose right onto you. the farm's border collie used to carry Wussface around in his mouth like a favourite chew toy and he just ran with it, this cat gave absolutely no fucks.

peace be upon him

Libertarians defending Scrooge is a time honored Christmas tradition. I was trying to find this classic from the Von Mises institute but had to wade through like half a dozen other apologetics first

Amanda gave up a tremendous amount on that deal. It is maybe one of the worst deals of all time, frankly, and the other funko pop girlfriends are laughing at her.
