And just before the smudging ceremony began, it was explained to the Syrians that the First Nations had to get special permission to be able to light the sage indoors, which the speaker saw as a further attack and erosion of Native culture.
They had to get permission for an exemption to the fire code. When will the cultural genocide end?

It is good to warn vulnerable people that in the new place they are living they are exposed to the caprices of a racist genocidal settler state.
