as far as miller goes he's a really bad writer.

i disagree

there's definite merit in it imho but iono, i just really dislike probably half of the sentences he writes. i compare that to, for instance, laferriere, and though his sentences aren't great i don't take issue with them

LMAO. i love how quickly this turned into a vendetta against you. god those people are mentally ill

hehe. it is "cool," even if i took issue, at this point i need "publicity" far more than i need "sales," so every person that reads it, even if they hate it & its bad, helps me out. at least i think. i'm thinking of reducing the price to $.99, or $2.99, for more sales

few enough people are buying it right now at 4.99 hehe. and plus that would drive all the customers to library dot nu... where a copy is freely available

Years ago I saw a copy of Macho Man Randy Savage's album on Amazon for $100. I didn't click it, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't tempted.

LOL remember that time I told Maggot master he could post here if he explained how OECD semi-periphery state "Chile" is actually considered by any accepted metric as the third world? Accepted not necessarily being some standard of imperialism but rather "something anyone with common sense would accept"

yeah you were really wrong on that and ended up looking pretty silly by trying to argue that third world countries had to be "rats nests" (your words)

chile is part of the third world in most common historical definitions of the third world, as well as related ideas like the global south or the non-aligned movement. so like you could argue "well yeah but they are still pretty rich" and that'd be fine, but you seem intent on trying to ridicule maggotmaster for considering himself part of the third world, which is a bizarre position.

If you want to consider Chile as part of the third world

the statement "chile is part of the third world" might be controversial but it is quite common to include chile as part of the third world. so you may have some personal mission to clear up who is and who isn't third world, that's fine, but you shouldn't start from the position that it is patently absurd to include chile as part of the third world when, in fact, it is widely considered part of the third world in many definitions. this makes it sound like you aren't aware of the debate.

well, for example, you said that chile wasn't part of the third world because it is broadly aligned with america, and imply that this is obvious. but alignment almost never meant something that broad. for example, india is now considered an american ally, but it would obviously not be considered the first world.

you said that chile being third world is not "something anyone with common sense would accept" which is trivially false, but it makes you look like You're Out of Your Element rather than some cool insult or whatever
#627
you completely miss the point here. The point was to demonstrate any elementary refutation of the simple thesis "Chile is not the third world" which first can be attacked on the basis of a historical argument, and secondly can move beyond simple historicization and be attacked on the grounds that addresses peripheries and territorializations of the nation state (not to mention more elaborate theoretical arguments). Of course its a "silly position", because you can actually formulate an argument against it, and of course discipline wasn't actually holding that position as a precise theoretical formulation. But "in actuality" none of those issues were addressed, because the young white teen is incapable of holding a complex argument, and resorts to pathetic attacks on his superiors and (as a last resort) simple, ignorant analysis.

Shame on the poverty of intellect! Shame on weakness, idleness, and stupidity!

i'm an adult convert to marxism-leninism, a poverty tourist (on welfare but middle class), i believe in things that are will never be seen by eyes (communism), so really i'm a kindred spirit

Faith is mucho importanto imo. if by some impossible stroke of luck, i live until communism, i will continue to my fundamental fantasy of being a Space Baby from 2001 a space odyssey. So let it be written, so it shall be done

if i can has communism then i would probably learn math and squeeze out tiny efficiency gains in the planning system and jump for joy when i learn that global soy milk production increased in efficiency by 0.4% due to my life's work or something.

Do you think that's as likely in socialism? What do YALL think? what are YOUR plans if communism is achieved? one must plan for contingencies...
