I used to deliver and it really is the easiest best job in the world and i wish there was some way to make actual money doing it because you just drive around and listen to music or probably pod casts now (pod casts not invented at the time) and the busier you are the less you have to do anything approaching work and the more time you spend driving and your automatically the best employee because you aren't high and you don't disappear for 30 min and nobody knows why but if you want to be high go ahead because you can't be replaced since your peers all have dewys

The easiest job I ever had was being a busser. 8 dollars an hour + customary tip out from all the servers. Worked twenty hours a week and made ~350-400 dollars. Oh well, they cut the wage to 4 dollars an hour + .7% of sales.

to answer da OP, i escaped servile hell by moving across the country, being homeless for two years, getting an entry level job at an e-tailer on the cusp of the internet bubble, slowly working my way up through finance departments by being a little more tech-smart then my fellow co-workers to the point where I'm now a well-paid middle manager who gets paid to play crawl and lurk rhizzone.net for the majority of the day. so, my irl advice is that you can run away from your problems (aka kansas).

the only negative part is that I picked up some faq about communism along the way so I know I deserve to die horribly which goes hand-in-hand with my persistent yearning for oblivion.

i have a technical degree and am a delivery driver. we arent organized but i'm 90% sure local management does not have their shit together to stop it. most of the management likely make less than us drivers most nights, although i still need to organize and interpret the data i've collected. the manager often offhand mentions how much the store makes in a night, i should also be writing that down but i always forget. i'm about to quit soon tho so my dreams of organization will likely not pan out

i've been a god dang server since i was 18!! and ive hated it ever since! i hosted when i was 16, turned server, was like hell yea at that money and never went back. i've been fired a few (twice ;_ times from Sweet Ass gigs basically b/c of attitude and tbh its probably because my dissatisfaction just boils over and spills onto me making me call a manager a "bitch ass bird beak manager" on facebook and getting me fired even tho i was the greatest ever and it was my favorite job ever and i can never go back aaaaaaaaHHHHHHH

but yeah maybe its just about time i stopped fucking doing this shit i hate? i just keep doing it because it was impossible to get hired anywhere else and i guess im really good at it but i: fucking hate it
