levometh isn't psychoactive at all fwiw. it is funny though that you can get it legally right off the shelf whereas if you had the same amount of the exact same thing as part of some racemic methamphetamine that it would be factored into calculating how many years to throw your ass away for

It says it produced "drug liking qualities" which to me means that the tweaklers they were testing it with enjoyed it because they associate the andrenergic effects on the PNS that it has with the experience of centrally acting stimulants since they also produce peripheral stimulation. If you injected a non-user with levometh and didn't cause them to expect any particular response they'd probably just have a severe panic attack

i think in the vast majority of cases thats way too young to be prescribing this sort of thing. i was prescribed ritalin around that age and the only thing it really achieved was to seriously worsen my preexisting depression. ADD/ADHD is real but way too many kids get diagnosed on the basis of 'behavioral issues' that are really just a natural response to dysfunctional environments of some kind, and even the kids who actually do have ADD are usually suffering more from environmental stuff and drugs are really not the answer.

however as an adult amphetamines are life, give me all the pills tia

nah just find a GP with a reputation for being scrip-happy, drink like two cups of coffee before you go in so you're jittery, and go in saying shit like ever since youve been a kid youve been really distractable, have a tough time concentrating, got shitty grades, etc but hadnt really thought much of it, your parents just said you were really energetic and a free spirit and you thought you were just flighty. lately though youve been daydreaming a lot and have had trouble focusing on tasks at work that werent a problem in the past, you've also been losing shit and tend to miss details. lately a close friend mentioned that you've been kind of a motormouth when talking about yourself and distracted when others are talking to you and your relationships are suffering and maybe you have ADHD? you had always believed that it was a fake disease but now that you consider your life in that light it's all sort of making sense
