I live in the 'country' w/ the best economy in central america and it's still a shithole where 3.3 of 4 million people get murdered a day. If I took a picture out my window the first response most people would have would be 'third world.' That being said people here live really good lives as they do in Chile and Uruguay and Argentina too - I've been to all of them and it's true.
