mccaine is cool but he comes up with really weird formulas and sticks to them. like recently he told me that althusser made up his entire system as a fraud in order to become a famous professor to impress his father or something. that's less coherent than like those bourgeois psychohistories about how mao wanted to be an emperor or something.

he also has a thing, which we all do sometimes i guess, where he pours scorn on positions that are different than his own as if they are totally incoherent nonsense that shouldn't even be brought up, but it makes him sound like he doesn't understand the debate to people who see nuances. i find it hard to read his articles because of this. but whatever he's cool.

No, not the common questions about how to motivate people or things like that. I'm talking about fundamental questions that you ask anyone, not just communists, who wants to discuss right and wrong, and what ought to be. Yeah, I haven't seen him lay out anything about ethics, except an implicit belief in universal liberation, although that's just a general communist article of faith. And he doesn't want to engage with philosophers like Badiou that do talk about ethics, because they're incoherent (ha). Other than that, which is actually really important, he's fine. But why would it matter anyway? He doesn't post here, doesn't want to, and swampman is obviously superior, having won the mod contest, and gotten enough money for rent.

doctor jools, what about effexor

should i be taking 225 mg of it a day

to be honest i wanna go off my meds (with doctor assistance) because it'll be cool to be able to wander around in rural cuba without having to worry about severe withdrawals because my $350/month pills got lost. that's my whole reason. doc can you increase my risk of psychotic break so i can bum around in a communist country's wastelands for a few years. also give me the money to do this thanks.
