My understanding is that tumblr is banning all porn because they got banned from the app store for child pornography. The funny thing is tumblr has survived as a pornographic free zone under corporate ownership for so many years in what must have been full knowledge that no system existed for automatic detection and removal/reporting of suspected child porn. They simply didn't care until the rather high-profile corporate blemish of an app store child porn ban

the bot they're using to ban "nsfw content" can't tell its ass from its elbow and is blocking out pictures of vases, rainbow flags, clothed statues, flowers. the best idea they could come up with to moderate content on a blog site with an enormous queer demographic was to filter everything through a primitive parental control blocker from 1998.

i’ll probably find and link my post from a while back about the new Tumblr/Yahoo terms of service Verizon imposed, they pretty much force anyone trying to sue the company over IP, defamation, harassment, etc. into a single venue of 1-on-1 arbitration chosen by Verizon... turns out there was a loophole though if you can turn into a big company that sends them money in the mail. Tried in the court of the app

unfortunately theres some semblance of social work, reformism, and care for others in the tradition of catholicism that is largely absent from the practices of orthodoxy, which is utterly medieval in character, form, and content

what? i was mostly calling out skripal related nonsense from western sources in those threads, as far as i remember. at the time that news of the integrity iniative was fresh and the (now deleted) wikileaks comment seemed like a useful footnote, with wikileaks anyway not seeming like the most russophobic source. also, i posted another tweet by a guy basically admitting its real. you are right in this case that the info i posted was incorrect, but it seemed worth mentioning. maybe it was a misjudgement. anyway, no worries, i'll refrain from posting on those topics unless i truly have something useful to add.
