Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council member Rıza Altun answered questions of ANF English service about the developments taking place in Kurdistan and the Middle East amid what he calls the Third World War.

Altun remarked that; "The Kurdish resistance in Kobane, Rojava created new circumstances. The international community and public opinion created pressure over the U.S. and other international powers to interfere the situation. The resistance mounted in Shengal, and after that in Kobane, moved the conscience of international community. The relationship between the US-led coalition and YPG was seen as legitimate and necessary as the alliance between the U.S. and Soviet Union against Hitler’s fascism at the time of the World War II. Both sides needed that kind of relationship like the U.S. and the Soviets needed back then. Thus a tactical relationship was developed with the U.S. against ISIS."

i remember the jeering in the western press/NYT for the "irony" of the syrian gov demanding reparations for US terrorist bombings in syria
https://www.telesurtv.net/english/analysis/Raqqa-Offensive-Higlights-US-Human-Rights-Hypocrisy-20171021-0003.html

meanwhile the Raqqa evacuation deal between the SDF and ISIS gangs made BBC news (months after independent and regional news sources were reporting it)... seems like the US allowed SIS to escape with lots of slaves

The SDF fighters on the ground say they saw something different. “The deal was for the surrender of 300 ISIS fighters, 100 of them to surrender to us that day but the 200 changed the deal the next day,” says a man who witnessed the events in Raqqa; for security reasons, he asked that his name not be used for publication. A local tribe helped facilitate the convoy because ISIS was holding some of the tribe’s members captive.

some of who the syrian army managed to free

Syrian Ministry of Defense and the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces officially announced Al-Bukamal (Albu Kamal) as captured from the Islamic State. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Syrian Arab Army freed dozens of abducted Yazidi civilians after capturing Al-Bukamal.
https://syrianwardaily.wordpress.com/2017/11/09/syrian-war-daily-9th-of-november-2017/

it turns out the syrian army has still not fully captured Bukamal town, with very heavy ISIS resistance in a quarter of the town and lots of isis VIPS kettled in... which the US is refusing to allow russia-syrian planes to bomb as it it in "their" sector

In 2007 the IAEA (which is apparently more professional and independent than the OPCW) went along with Israeli and US lies about "bombing a North Korean nuclear reactor in Syria" as part of an earlier push against that country

A more detailed look at the OPCW and its 'evidence'

https://medium.com/@AdrianKent/the-jimll-fix-it-ecf39c69675a

Good to remember how they released it: the OPCW was told what conclusion to come to before 'investigating' and selected anonymous 'experts' to say the right vague things... This draft 'report' was then leaked to friendly media like the NYT days before it was given to the Syrian government.

With the story thus set, once the actual report was officially released months later they could minimise the impact of what a laughable F- it was.

Also interesting is that even with the 'evidence' collected in the report its quite possible to come to totally different conclusions

Its interesting to see the reaction to Vanessa beeley and 21 c wire blog... The msm have been ignoring them, then laughing at them and now the BBC and Guardian copy their investigations... Which has caused the gov to shut down this terror funding program

Here's VBs investigation which BBC etc copied from
http://21stcenturywire.com/2017/12/02/white-helmets-local-councils-uk-fco-financing-terrorism-syria-taxpayer-funds/

Meanwhile the BBC has spent the last few years trying to hide the fact that they paid AlQaeda to film a propaganda piece which they aired the night parliament was voting (against, as it happened) bombing Syria in 2013

they're not, they're just bringing some unspecified number of troops home and making a big deal out of it to remind everyone the yanks are sticking around even though legally they shouldnt even be there

They also said they're ready to come back with a vengeance if need be, and I believe them because they were going to do this before until shit got worse and they stopped the withdrawal and intensified operations leading to the present more favourable situation. It is absolutely hastey and probably ill advised to make these premature announcements about victory though, but I think and hope Petrol is right and they know better than to actually believe it's over

Socialist policies going strong in Syria

Even when it looked like AlQaeda would take Damascus and slaughter the people of Latakia, they never gave up their principled policies such as: subsidies for the poor, free health and education, paying civil servants monthly, arming the Palestinian resistance, taking in refugees etc

Sorry gshh I don't have any info on hand but I will keep an eye out and post here if I find anything interesting.

Meanwhile: a bunch of premade opposition tweets about 'outrages' in Idlib has been leaked.
This automated social media process would be interesting to look at from the war industry media/lobbying perspective

http://www.fort-russ.com/2018/01/important-is-false-flag-operation-about.html?m=1

Also: the Syrian army has been taking over give amount of AlQaeda territory, and trolling them by getting their spies embedded within opposition held towns to take pictures for release the day or 2 before they capture them.

Very funny!
Hopefully Turkey won't do anything stupid in this

dunno bout the imminent false flag theory the article espouses based on this. the prepared tweets link to other tweets/pics that are already live and using the hashtag. it's an ongoing campaign, certainly it's coordinated but that's par for the course these days.

"We will not leave Syria. We are not going to declare victory and go. That is not my opinion, that's the President's strategic judgement. We are going to stay for several reasons: stabilization and assistance in vital in the north and northeast; protection of our Allies the Syrian Democratic Forces who have fought so valiantly against ISIS in the Northeast; try work to help transform the political structures in that area to a model the rest of Syria and capable of being credibly represented in a new Syrian state. But for other reasons as well including: countering Iran and its ability to enhance its presence in Syria, and serving as a weight, a force, able to help us achieve some of those broader objectives we've been speaking about in the course of this hearing."
