i read a thing by an anarchist trying to imagine what an anarchist world would look like in response to climate change and i was still kind of on board even through the composting toilets and lack of electricity and pure voluntarism but then what i was dealing with snapped into focus when i go to the part about how diseases will be mostly treated by naturopaths and homeopaths

it's true that 100+ years ago "allopathic" medicine was often worse than nothing, whereas today it is better than nothing. homeopathic medicine, by contrast, has had the good sense to be exactly as good as nothing the whole time
