That's because whoever is head hitler, top tojo, or master mussolini does not act as the motor of history the way that bourgeois thinking poisons our minds to believe. Only the people have the power to effect change.
And I don't just mean that as another line of Marxist propaganda. I know people here know this, but it bears repeating: even if we're talking about the implementation of progressive reforms under capitalist rule (e.g. the civil rights act, roe v. wade) these changes are always accompanied by a massive outpouring of struggle waged not by politicians, but by the people using both legal and extralegal means of resistance.
Change only comes when the movement behind that change becomes a threat to the existing order, not because someone is elected who 'really gets it'.
What I'm saying is that what happens in the streets in the next four years is going to matter a lot more than whichever person is sitting in the chair sneering down on the people in the streets. If a Trump presidency is met with massive resistance by the undocumented, then he will probably end up deporting a lot fewer people than a Clinton presidency that simply continues the Obama status quo and is not met by a rising fightback.
That's why our orientation has to be towards the people, and why I think it's disingenuous to claim that a Clinton presidency will definitely be less repressive than a Trump one. We have to make that determination, but we can't make it via the ballot.

i think hillary's hawkishness is indeed a major factor as to why those of the left dislike her, yes.

How come you'd think this would be good if Hugo Chavez would do it but you think its worth making fun of trump if he'd do it. Once again, we see that the Left are spineless intellectual wussies with no greater true ideology than to cheer lead their celebrities, like Stalin, Jon Stewart, Hillary Clinton, Zach De La Rocha, etc.
The Clinton campaign is now using the slogan "She's With Us" rather than "I'm With Her," a response to Trump's excellent mockery.

SIMFEROPOL, July 28. /TASS/. Republican nominee Donald Trump’s promise to recognize Crimea as part of Russia testifies to a drift towards mending ties with Russia in the US, Crimean leader Sergey Aksyonov said on Thursday.
"Trump says only what his voters want to hear. This means there is a desire to improve ties with Russia in American society," Aksyonov wrote on Facebook.
However, at the moment Trump is only a presidential hopeful, while his speeches are part of election campaign rhetoric, Aksyonov said. "We don’t know how he will behave if he wins the election," he wrote.
"The Crimean people don’t need recognition from Western leaders. We have made our choice once and for all," he went on. "If part of the US political establishment, such as Trump, is ready to recognize the reality, we can only welcome this," he said.
On Wednesday, Trump told a news conference in Florida that if elected he would consider recognizing Crimea as part of Russia, as well as the lifting sanctions imposed against Russia over the developments in Ukraine.
