what a one-sided article... before we begin, let's mention a little fact. the farmer which the article talks about is a convicted rapist, who spent time in the Israeli prison for the rape of a tourist. i know, it's irrelevant to the story, but it's good to know who you are defending.
while the violence by the people of Anatot is wrong, the real story is totally different that what was described in this article. first of all, the violence only occured after the "peace activists" blocked the road to Anatot. the violence was mutual, and the videos which you see on youtube are edited. for example, one israeli activist claimed that settlers took off her shirt, and it was later discovered (and filmed by security cameras) that she simply tried to make provocations by walking without her shirt in front of them. the palestinians also carried clubs, which is not mentioned either.
violence is wrong, and it should be condemned. however, this piece of crap is not even close to journalism, but rather something which looks more like propoganda. i know that it's the opinions section, but even so, the writer should have at least try to look somewhat balanced.
