Michael Shannon played a weird character in Mud where's he's this kids slacker uncle who fishes for clams with a steampunk diving helmet.

It's obvious that the movie was written for MRAs because all the women in the film are capricious cheating harpies who always betray the male characters.

i looked them up; i was interested in the history and secret learnings (this was about 6 years ago)

i met with a few of them in a pub to confirm i was a man in good standing, then i did my initiation (where they blindfold you and walk you round a room with your trouserleg rolled up and then they uncover your eyes and theres a bunch of them with swords pointed at you)

unfortunately the monthly meetings were hours long affairs of pure proceduralism worse than fucking occupy, followed by the pub.
i left cos i thought they were creepy old men, which i now think was harsh as i've spent plenty of time since then with creepy young men.
