pride parades are pretty stupid at this point because anyone who isn't gay finds them trashy and irritating, which in turn imbues the word 'gay' with its dual meaning of 'homosexual' and 'sucks' that persists in schoolyards across the english speaking world, causing bullied gay boys to feel a need to reclaim gayness as adults in the form of irritating trashy parades. the circle of life
