someone i know once told me that stalin's actions were neccesary because they prevented the ussr from "succumbing to liberalism" which would've "brought more death, misery and poverty".

I think he changed his opinion since.

I don't think you can really fault Stalin as a tactician and politician; that's really not the point though.

Just wondering. If you're still communist in 2012 and you haven't read it, well, maybe you should and you'll realize why communists are treated as the slightly less mean but more stupid stepcousins of Holocaust-deniers.

this is the OP then you go on to ask people what the book is about, not a very well conceived troll

so when do we get to the part where the zionists inflated the death toll of the holocaust and whitewashed out other victims so tht the world would let them oppress arab peoples with a clear conscience? Looking at u Simon Wiesenthal.

Anyone know any good critical works on Gulag Archipelago? Seeing as it's still the most famous book on the Soviet Union (despites Jordan Peterson claims that it's out of print), probably a good idea to know how to take it apart.

Having a saving remnant that still chooses to remain a part of a large assembly of the lukewarm, the uncertain, and the recalcitrant is even better. But I am contractually obligated to say that.

try tearing it along the spine, thats where its weakest, or alternativly rip out the pages in groups of 10-20

this place was better when you could pal around with ragtag eccentric outcasts, now it's a bunch of Pumpkin Spice Latte members (guys just because the white national socialism is more covert, don't make it better) and boring pseuds and wannabes

*forum population shifts from anime avatar'd basement dwelling ~*aEsThEtIcS*~ posters to active political organizers* fuck where did all these pseuds and wannabes come from

i'm sorry we're so boring, animedad. if you're still craving your fix of ragtag eccentric outcasts, you can watch genuine renegade intellectual impper play hearthstone 14 hours a day on twitch.

i'm an aesthetic rearguard... but yeah, animedad has a point which he is missing in his anger. an ideological consensus has developed over the 5-6 years of this forum's existence as opposed to the initial threads with more idiosyncrasies (and trolling) when the ideological 'line' was not clear.
