its like no-one in the region has taken much note of the danger posed to lone tanks by ATGM teams in contested terrain, despite the lessons of the Syrian conflict

here's another example of the YPG this time, also firing at a tank (Turkish Leopard 2A4), totally decimated due to its ammo store being directly hit

The Houthis are adopting frogman tactics against Saudi ships in addition to their high-end ASM attacks. This asymmetry I've only seen in accounts of the Iran-Iraq war or Command & Conquer: Tiberium Sun.

drug cartel submarines are mostly click-bait VICE-style urban legend based on only a couple examples, they make no real sense financially but white people love to be scared of them

well he does point out that most 'narcosubs' aren't really submarines at all, mostly just boats designed to be inconspicuous or low in the water. i found some of the stuff he said about the different designs and how they've changed over time to be interesting
