Today, I brought a jug of coffee and two dozen donuts to striking members of the CWA in Brooklyn. It's my intention to bring them refreshments tomorrow as well, and on until they stop picketing. Thanks! It's important to keep up morale on the picket line, and I remember every time I was engaged in action and an amazing stranger offered me food or coffee, it was like I got triple energy to keep going. If you'd like to contribute to the cost at all, PM me. I can send photographic evidence of the contribution, as I'm still new around here and no one should trust me all that much.

If you live in NYC there is a lot of good shit like this to do. Please come to local PSL meetings (there are a lot), and also the volunteer opportunities are pretty endless. The Coalition for the Homeless will be doing a pretty major protest soon, as well.

i joined a maoist group a few years ago here in dc, there were some tough barriers to entry but eventually i learned the rules of the game. i stlil go every week and now i win fairly often
