i would hope no one thinks i was trying to make some edgy dead baby joke. this thread is about how there's a New York Times article entitled "Bernie baby dies of SIDS"

And about how the government invented SIDS to suppress political babies

This got lost in all the drama, perhaps deservedly.
I've been thinking, and I know this idea will kind of fall on stony ground, but since my historical analysis determines that all gains by the oppressed come out of the fear of the oppressors of losing everything, would a good way to influence the Democratic Party to support Bernie be to create a political group saying that if hilary wins the primary, they'll vote for Trump?
It comes out of how three of those supporters say they prefer sanders, but would vote for trump. The Democratic Party wants to win, of course, and since impassioned pleas and massive low-level support seems to have little effect on the upper echelons of the party, perhaps an open threat will be more effective? Kind of replacing "Give us liberty or death!" With "give us sanders or trump!"
I know Sanders is somewhat unpopular here, but even the Russian revolution had to go through the six months of social democracy before conditions were ripe for the Bolsheviks to take power. Full communism will come once the masses realise the futility of social democracy, not before. History says most great leaps in human progress come after the people are dissatisfied with the small reforms of the compromisers. What are your thoughts?
I would of course start the Facebook group or whatever myself, but since I'm Canadian, I'd be far too open to accusations that I don't care about the negative effects of a Trump win. But really, I think it has merit, because realistically, Clinton is really the worst option for us. More of the same is more damaging towards actual progress than a completely crazy right winger. Come on, I know we've got American accelerationists, want to do appreciable damage to an election? A hundred thousand people on a Facebook group saying they despise politics as usual will at least get mentioned.

I think it's a good idea and will be at worst totally ineffectual
#49
Some might say that makes it a bad idea.
#50
some might say communism doesn't work, but that doesn't keep all of us from being totally ineffectual either.

Buy that dude an accou- oh nevermind

Basically I'm advocating a organized group that's the complete opposite of this. You are all saying that a bernie government would never live up to people's expectations, I say good. Disillusioned socialists are communists in utereo.

well, that or mustang

Where is the uterus in this metaphor? Are you saying the socialist baby is miscarried and then somehow becomes a communist zombie? Or does it die of SIDS?
#55
disappointed people are just disappointed i dont think they magically turn into something else.

Pretty fucking classist thread honestly, sure the Amerikkkans have to watch out for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, meanwhile, the people they oppress in the third world face the much more widespread Easily Foreseeable Infant Death Syndrome
