A couple weekend back I saw Bhaskar Sunkara talk alongside someone from the Democratic Socialists of America about how socialists desperately need to help Bernie Sanders win the Democratic primary, because American socialism is basically really a joke and Sanders and the Democratic Party needs our critical support because it can be made even Lefter than it is now. That's basically everything they said in a 10 minute speech on the topic "Should socialists support Bernie Sanders in the Democratic Primary?"
