i never got into rifftrax because it seemed more like "let's make fun of a bad ben affleck movie", while the charm of mst3k to me was always when the old low-budget scifi movie did something bizarre like a small green alien would dance or whatever and everyone would laugh rather than like sitting alone watching some christian fundamentalist guy insult a romcom from 2010.

the only time a one-person commentary track ever worked well is Wizard People, Dear Reader and only because it's more its own work of comedy than a commentary track

i really enjoyed a lot of the older conec posts. the ones about doing insane degenerate nazi stuff in europe were my favorite. i wish i could remember what the actual "stuff" was, but i have a feeling it was super hilarious.
