yeah but pigs are smarter animals than cattle, and live their entire lives in CAFOs where cows typically only spend their last six months, with the rest being more or less pastured

If pigs are so smart why can't they stop themselves from being brutally and continually slaughtered.
#9
i have it on good authority that cows are exceptionally intelligent, they just don't give a fuck
#10

It's weird that a lot of people in the first world are more concerned with buying animal friendly products than they are about products that don't involve sweatshop labor.

one is a lot easier than the other

Cows are the Silent Jury in the Trial of Mankind

#19
i was a vegetarian for like five years until i remembered i don't give a shit about animals and it's not my job to mend humanity's ecological rift. except obviously in the sense that it is exactly what an economist should do, but you only live once.

wrong, people deserve to suffer like Nietzsche and the horse, eternally locked in a gaze that causes madness

I gotta admit, I'm a huge specie-ist. I care about animals, and I'd rather they not undergo unnecessary torture (stress effects the quality of the meat) but I'd kill a cow myself to feed an African village. While I dislike the way Capitalism goes about killing cows, I can't really bring myself to care too much since it also goes about killing humans. It's basically the most liberal bullshit to say stop eating meat because of the suffering of animals. I say eat meat, get strong, and overthrow capitalism. Once it can no longer harm any human beings, then I'll care about other animals.
#30
actually, it's the opposite. it's immoral to eat meat under capitalism
#31
its immoral to be alive under capitalism. kill you are self in you are mind by anestheisis of buying and caring about consumer produt,s,and norm shit
#32
Animals get a free ride off this planet, the rest of us have to scrimp and save to buy our party balloon helium tanks and vacuum bags and the alcohol to lower our inhibitions enough to go through with it.

Second this.

I don't eat meat, but I view abstaining from it as a matter of pity, not justice.
