To be honest, I am still unclear why Mustang in particular is unacceptable, since he is certainly not unique among us (including myself) in having outlandish views or in trading in rough language and insults (Particularly by the standards of normies).

its because he has episodes where he'll fill the front page with spam threads and post hundreds of times to drown out everything else. presumably no one is there to calm him down and give him his meds. If u wanna be mod and do the work of cleaning all that I guess it doesnt really matter.

I wasn't here to witness that, but hundreds of spam threads sounds preferable to the present stagnation, honestly.

In addition to what babyhuey said above, he has used brute-force methods to hack lots of user accounts here. Full disclosure, I have done some bad things against the site myself, in the past. However Mustang has gone above and beyond the call of duty in this regard.

Besides that, the site has always censored who is able to speak here. This is a communist site and not a liberal one. Mustang might be allowed so long as he was willing to give up hacking and willing to become a communist.

i mean if i was a coder i'd probably make it so that a list than can be tens of thousands of entries long with html markup language and stuff gets paginated so it doesnt load all at once, but what do i know i have an english degree

The way I see it, these are the basic coordinates of the ideological spectrum here: there's the Left made up of solid M-Ls (Urbandale, BHPN), there's what you could call, by Rhizzone standards, the Center, and then there's Tpaine. What we don't really have is a Right opposition (no energetic one at any rate), which is partly what leads to the absence of the contradictions that, in other contexts, drive debate on many important issues (immigration, for example).

Mustang's zealous first world socialism/ironic (?) National Socialism (same thing, am I right folks?) would seem to fill that lack.

I think it would be a bad idea to allow the bad poster to post. I think the way things are now is preferable. I think the best way to improve posting is to have good posters post, and not the bad ones. I believe there is an old saying that goes, "bad poster is bad." I think there's some truth in that.

Every October we should unban everyone, as long as RedMaistre is volunteering for cleanup duty. they can be re-banned when they fuck up again. I can't imagine anyone is permanently incapable of posting on a forum
