Hi gang, so I'm organizing a Rhizzone burlesque show in 2015. It will be held in Toronto. What we're thinking of doing is having women perform short lewd skits on radical topics that interest them. There will also be live music and great local food. There will be no traditional panel presentations, just fun and hip interactive culture. This will take a lot of people power to pull off so I'm starting early.

Hmmm it sounds good in theory, but,

i feel like there's bad blood between some of our posting crew and some of the leading figures of the north american left and this could be a great opportunity to squash the beef. i'm also thinking of doing a striptease night and yes i'll be getting up there (for charity).

i've already private messaged about twenty lurkers who have usernames that correspond to instagram accounts with more or less good looking women. i'm not sure if discipline is coming back, she's put out some heat against sex work in the past but this wouldn't be paid obviously. i personally forbid conec from the burlesque part because she's only 20 and if someone heckled her and then she started talking like a baby it'd be like dumping cold water on all the guys. plus she's got an internet fiance we like so even though internet dating is real that's a bond we respect. also that ASMR redhead i follow doesn't have a contact page but if i buy enough things off her amazon wishlist maybe she'll ask around. otherwise if some of the hotter posters like gyrofry and sosie want to post some galleries so we can yay or nay them then that'd be good times. anyway i'll post more details in a jiffy.

i'm dumping all the questions i'm getting off twitter into my project management program. i guess the main one is whether we'll ask molly crabapple to come. we could ask her to do the brochures / posters / coasters / bibs and such for exposure or maybe gift certificates to swampman's dog exercise company or whatever (i'll touch base with you about this swampman). buuuut there's two ulterior motives there. one is that she could make us right as rain with vice media and the other is that she is a former "suicide girl" whiiiiich might hook us up with some of their ladies for the burlesque show. plus i mean third motive if her and discipline buried the hatchet that's win-win for virality.

another looming issue is jacobin. i think some of their editors are PUAs or at least wannabes so if we secure some models or dancers then i think that sets in train their crew coming down from brooklyn. i mean not a literal train or like a bus or something they're not on food stamps there. if jacobin comes then who knows about other publishers and such.

i too am drunk and rambling because my new years plans fell through. how were your holidays rizzhonen

new plan: discipline tears molly crabapple's still-beating heart from her chest (either literally or metaphorically through a scathing verbal cascade, whatever) and the jacobin editorial board melts like the villain dude in raiders of the lost ark

i'm non-violent actually so let's tone down the rhetoric a shade, thanks in advance.

i've almost moved to winnipeg a couple times (there were some cute uni kids that wanted to form an org and talked about giving me a paid coordinator position) but edmonton is kind of my ideal cold isolated misery city and i might have trouble adjusting to colder, more isolated, more miserable. oth maybe it would be great

no. my mom makes pierogies and blood pudding and cabbage rolls and stuff for every holiday though because she's the best.

my mom grew up in winnipeg (north end what what) but the last time i was out there was 2007 or so. i was more mental at the time though so i hid in a room and read lukacs instead of like going to musea.

also this totally isn't something to worry about, that's actually a pretty flattering downloads to reviews ratio
