with easily accessible and affordable higher education, everyone is going to college. the demand for utility workers is huge and will only get bigger as obama lets more dumb asses into universities as a way to increase the time they have on this gay earth before their parents start telling them to get a job. a person with an associate's degree in something useful can probably make three times the income a person with a bachelor's or master's degree in some nonsense would make.

an electrician with an AS degree on average likely makes more money than a Ph.D. individual (regardless of field) teaching as an adjunct or even assistant professor.

im starting nursing school full time in the fall for this very reason. gonna get to work in a union shop gonna make that money money 50k base woop woop

the actual cost per credit is only like $133 so it's still pretty cheap. liability insurance costs almost as much as tuition :-/
