i told my dad to ask about tax credits related to disabilities. so he asked his accountants and they ludicrously just told him all the credits that could possibly apply to someone with a disability and then told him he was going to save $1,000 on his taxes because of his failson. but the credits are for like people who are blind or severely retarded and shit. and it's not just a fraud thing because i'd need a doctor to be like yeah he requires a caregiver and obviously OBVIOUSLY he's not going to say that hahaha. so now my dad is going to get mad at me for raining on the parade lol.

The promise with such tech is that now your entire field of vision is basically customized to provide you with the best consumer experience possible. I mean that's wild. Soon we're all gonna live in pods with our internet girlfriends. The end.

id probably trade the revolution for some consumerist virtual reality if it got me laid. at least cyber-laid.

i think its more of an issue of you not remembering the dreams you have rather than not dreaming at all

#16
and not remembering dreams has more to do with not being able to integrate your unconscious drives with your conscious self like they do in FYAD

ive been having a lot of paranoid/schizophrenic dreams lately about dreaming. i guess my unconscious got tired of normal dreams and has decided to serve up this annoying pomo meta bullshit like a bad movie.

confirmed that micah white is insane and delusional and demands that when people (i.e., no one) write to request speakers (i.e., himself and two of his friends) from his "speakers bureau", they address him with his graduate degree as his title

Idk about Canada but this is for real an interesting trap in the U.S., where the only way to get necessary aid is to drastically exaggerate disabilities with the complicit aid of physicians and care workers and legal aid workers and so on

#27
finally, if you bring a recording device into the meeting you should get physically removed. phones in a basket
#28
yeah. i might apply for disability payments again soon and that happened to me last time. they almost automatically reject you and you have to fight it at a tribunal. i'm also concerned it will destroy my credit somehow. i'm talking to a social worker on thursday.

good and let me know how it goes. In the U.S. those folks will usually help you game the system if you do a little research on your own, something you are equipped to do.

#30
oh the thing is that you win at the tribunal most of the time, it's just that you have to go through the whole case and get legal aid and shit up to that point, which can be like a year later. they pay you all the back months though wootles.

this is why i don't use a smartphone. i revile them, but that might be because I lived outside of the US from 2009 to 2013. before i left the iphone was still a lame toy for rich assholes. i came back to find that they had aggressively parasitized the eyes of 90%of my peers.
#32
seriously, i don't see how people live in such abject fear of gorgle ass, most people live their lives almost entirely mediated through the screens of their phones already

probably because google ass removes the illusion(?) that the smartphone user is purely a voyeur and not the voyeurised

i got an iphone in september and it's great. helps me get out of the house somewhat more and use my computer a bit less.

MY GIRLFRIEND and i make our guests leave their phones in a little basket by the door when we invite them over, its hilarious. we're the best cooks in our circle of friends so nobody complains. i think they all think we're "cute/old fashioned" but really its our chance to be petty tyrants. standing house rule is anyone who takes a picture of anything with a phone under our roof they are mercilessly iced

i feel like this would be the text of a panel in a new york times piece on your loft in brooklyn and you would have a lot of white furniture.
