- according to stefan, which are the hottest nightclubs?
- what's a good price for a small boutique condo on manhattan? preferably i'd like to breathe in the wreckage of two commuter planes and some jenga towers every morning. it only needs to fit one person (forever alone, no fat jokes)
- do you have to be an american to serve as a democrat precinct captain? i want people to max out for the cause.
- what do you think goldman sachs' policy on genderqueers is? if i get a note from my doctor can i wear my bra outside my suit into work? no vanilla poster replies.
- is there some way we can network and create online buzz about new york to promote it as a hip place for the me generation?

that'd be cool as hell. i'm not really into lording over slums though, seems like a huge headache. i'd rather park my money into something boring and focus my attention on goon projects.

Berlin is the new London: a centre of traditional political power and cultural influence whose soul (especially the historically and socially unique Eastern districts in each city) is being squeezed from it's bones by an unstoppable twin alliance of yuppies and bourgeois bohemians

that's a shame, i haven't listened to any of her music since she danced the Charleston on Ray Charles grave or whatever that thing was several weeks ago.
There are now four dating websites that have Predator Alert Tools:
Predator Alert Tool for OkCupid
Predator Alert Tool for FetLife
Predator Alert Tool for Facebook
Predator Alert Tool for Lulu
These tools are inspired by the academic works of David Lisak and Paul Miller, “Repeat Rape and Multiple Offending Among Undetected Rapists,” 2002, and the academic works of Stephanie K. i heard something similar on the radio the other day about some do-good-blah-blah-diet-justice council who are lobbying the government to make it mandatory for fast food place and various other products to have nutritional information in LARGER TYPE on the FRONT of the product because not enough people were reading it on the back.
To me, that's the same type of philosophy as

sorry i know i get hysterical about this but my packets of cigarettes come with a picture of a fucking toilet on them as of last week (kidney/bladder cancer you see....) and i just don't understand the thought processes of these fussy little arbiters of taste and ethics weaseling their way into all facets of our lives. I know we can't but oh how i would love to reclaim personal responsibility as a tenet of the Left?
SariBari posted:what is lulu, what is a fetlife?
fetlife is a fetish sex hookup website which a shocking number of people use. it's caused by patriarchy and used by people who think they are fighting patriarchy. HIGHLY problematic.
ilmdge posted:the problem with putting all those dire warnings and so on all over the packets is... if we really don't want people to eat doritoes and drink mountain dew, why not be be honest and just ban those things or ration them? it seems we insist on giving people their personjal choice while at the same time trying our damnedest to tell them how to choose.
Because here at least, the government is trying to tow a very fine line between the public health agenda of encouraging the natural decline in smoking that we've seen everywhere in the west, and not ACTAULLY really wanting large numbers of people to quit because it'll blow a massive hole in the budget.
Before i started smoking rolling tobacco when i went back to uni, it was costing me $21-$24 US for a packet of 25 cigs. It's a cashcow for the government and i've been known to get on a few people's bad sides by insisting that the rigourous and constant smoking of people like me is what's paying for their health care. If smoking, gambling an alcohol use was to decline dramaticly it would create a gigantic massive crisis.
i need to move i think, maybe to America: it's always been the land of the free to me
