this past weekend i went to philadelphia to help my brother take care of his two darling little girls because his wife was working 12-hour shifts on saturday and sunday. i spent all day both days just running around keeping track of and entertaining the older baby. i deeply look forward to the day ive got kids of my own occupying me all the time to devote my life to. it will be so much more rewarding than posting with a bunch of chucklefucks about leftist politics that will never exist or if they do won't have anything to do with any of us. the best thing any of us can do for the future is to form a partnership founded by love and respect that gives birth to many children, who can be raised in the church and taught the contradictions of capitalism.

brainwave: think the phelps family, except marxist

tbh having and raising children looks like a pretty fulfilling vocation, although i still maintain it's a breach of the rights of the child to force them into existence without consulting them first

there are far too many invitations to suicide and complete mental collapse along the way for this to be inevitable

sorry, i don't think like this. I have my health, I have my friends, the sun is shining....just never seems like the conditions are right for a 'complete mental collapse'

I'm out of shape, I have no friends and I live in Seattle, and I'm the King and you can't fuck with it.

hmm well i have my health and my friends too, not sure what you mean by 'conditions'. i genuinely believe in the possibility of major reform of reproductive biology and family structure and was just making a cynical comment about it, for laffs. i agree perhaps the best most people can do right now is to continue raising children more or less as they have, it is possible to have different goals for the future though. anyway what i mean is i would literally rather die than raise a biological family as a married couple of any kind, so if i actually believed this was inevitable i would kill myself
