yes, making rape jokes is hilarious, you're a comedy mastermind
#202
at least r/mensrights wouldn't make rape jokes and engage in rape erasure like this.
#203

it's an a priori assumption of our society that rape of men by women does not happen. it is rendered a joke, humorous in nature to propose it. the reality disagrees thoroughly: statistics show that women and men alike are raped in almost exactly the same amounts, and about 40% of our nation's rapes are of men by women. but this is comedy. humorous. men can't be victims. women can't be perpetrators. neither is fully human. men are raging beasts, always desperate for a fuck and incapable of declining a willing woman. women are sinless saints, unable to possibly commit one of the most repugnant crimes in the human vocabulary.
#205
reality has a known mra bias.

WOW, there sure is a LOT of rape erasure going on in this forum. rape apologism. rape culture. you're all bad ppl, is what i'm saying.
#214
especially emanuela orland, who is explicitly pro-rape, not even as a joke.
#215
no im not. thats offensive and i also find yer whole gimmick about making up men getting raped by women offensive
#216
yeah i'm "making up" something that's been found to be true by the CDC. what would you call it if i denied the existence of rape of women by men? it's an attitude that, realistically, can only be called pro-rape.
#217
this gimmick is going into strange places
#218
it is NOT a gimmick to discuss the serious issue of male rape victims.

women should stop raping men so much, imo.
#222
is emanuela orlandi a female rapist or something? wtf. stop downvoting my posts because you're a rape apologist.
#223
look up the definition of rape, Emanuela Orlandi. turns out women can do it too.

the unlawful compelling of a person through physical force or duress to have sexual intercourse.

sex that is coerced by blackmail is generally considered rape, so, yes.

#226
lol cool so i can talk to female rape victims who got legit dateraped or normal raped and we will be Rape Victims talking about Our Experiene, huh?

you do realize there are women who have been coerced into having sex by blackmail, right?

#228
yea ive seen sleeper cell. duh.
#229
the only reason you're even doubting that your experience qualifies as rape is because...? you had consensual sex with the perpetrator before they raped you? lots of women are raped by their boyfriends. the coercion was nonviolent? this woman was coerced via nonviolent means, are you going to say she wasn't raped? is it because you're a man, and your victimizer was a woman?

if you don't feel comfortable discussing your experiences with other victims because it "doesn't compare", or calling it rape, esp. since you haven't had any particularly strong negative reaction, that's okay. many female victims feel that way too (e.g. "I resist calling any of my bad sexual experiences rape, at least in part because their impact on my sanity and happiness was negligible in the long term."). that doesn't change the reality that being coerced into sex by blackmail is unambiguously rape.
#230
ya its def bc i am a man and she was a woman since men cant be raped

defining rape as solely penetrative and then going "women can't rape men" is like defining sex as solely piv and then going "gay people can't have sex". it's fucking ridiculous and stupid.
#235
they can't though

there's probably something to be said about the relative level of violence and abuse, to put it bluntly, it didn't appear it took a lot to coerce our friend dru to keep intercoursing this chick.

wow, be a little nicer to dru, he's talking about his personal experiences as a rape victim and I will NOT tolerate you mocking that.

i'm sorry transient_grace, but in the interests of fairness i'm going to have to downvote that post. i hope you forgive me.

i'm pretty sure he was just boasting about his sexual prowess, stop being autistic.

many men who have been the victims of female-on-male sexual assault redefine their trauma as being "i'm so awesomely attractive that women can't stop themselves from raping me" in order to avoid dealing with the "loss of masculinity" (for lack of a better term) that occurs when one is a victim of such a personal and intimate kind of violence.
