Guitarist Steven Van Zandt, a member of Springsteen's E Street Band, was angered by the forced curtailment, accusing "English cops" of preventing "80,000 people having a good time".

"When did England become a police state?" he wrote on Twitter.

Praise be to Allah. As a recent convert to Islam, I had often struggled with denying Christ crucifixion, since I was raised Christian. This video has given me peace in understanding. Praise be to Allah for his guidance in the Quran and the Gospel. Thanks sooo much for sharing this. May the blessings of Allah be with you.

so the Quran basically says the jews claimed they crucified Jesus but in fact were only let to believe they had done so?

does that deny the crucifixion as an event ie Christ was never on the cross, or does it simply deny that the crucifixion was successful, ie Jesus was on the cross but he didn't die and it was just made to appear that way to the jews, who got totally played?
#876
my understanding of 4:157 is that it denies that Isa was crucified at all, but that it was made to appear that way to observers. after substituting a ringer Isa actually left for KAshmir and then recieved the command
