there are a lot of simple amino acids, vitamins and fatty acids that when taken individually or in certain combinations or situations, can have pharmacological effects. it's pretty cool. granted, it's not anything ground shattering but it's still pretty cool that something like leucine, in the presence of glutamine, can activate protein synthesis or that glycerine and alanine will induce cell swelling combined with the former. yet, a piece of chicken or a whey shake will have no such effect and serves mostly as just the same as a big infusion of glutamine essentially.
p.s. London is a fucking dump and should be avoided at all costs.
go to Berlin or Belgrade instead

seems like just some "muscle pump" supplement with the added negative of increases joint inflammation. i haven't really heard much about it from others, which means it probably doesn't do shit and i imagine the other, more commonly used amino acid supps, would serve the same role and function while being beneficial in other regards

i dunno it seems fairly new and people on various forums say it's great and what not.
you take arginine if you want the pumps
i haven't read any testimonials really, i don't care much about it because it's just another garbage supplement marketed as a miracle drug with shoddy studies and a big name in the bodybuilding world promoting it. it was sold almost a decade ago, by some steroid guru who claimed it was an effective drug (the drug he was selling that contained it) but i haven't seen a single thing supporting that claim and i haven't heard it making any big waves in the near 10 years it's been out. i'd consider it worthless and a waste of money and wouldn't use it but that's for other people to decide - i don't really care.

yeah I figured it was just another potion supplement miracle drug marketing thing but wanted to get a reasonable opinion about it.
just take creatine and beta alanine, imo. shit is dirt cheap and it actually has benefits.

i don't put much stock in mass marketed bodybuilding supplements. most of them are falsely advertised with corrupt biased studies used for as basis for their claims. the few ingredients added (actually having some tangible benefits) are done so in haphazard fashion where a slew of everything but the kitchen sink is added seemingly at random amounts to concoct some overpriced worthless product. many of these supplements only produce their desired effects in controlled and specific environments, or only in the presence of other specific supplements. so the supplements in these weirdly named bodybuilding drugs you see at GNC, are more than likely never going to do anything at all because the lab studies using the specific supplements used different dosages or scenarios to create certain effects
if you want a supplement to use, that will give you the greatest return and benefit out of any legal and nonsteroidal supplement, then just take l-leucine, 5-10gr post-w/o (assuming you ate some type of protein source prior to lifting). that's it; there isn't anything that's going to be more effective and simplistic outside of steroids.
