i think most muslims are grossed out by pigs and taught tehyre dirty or whatever but thats not sunnah, thats just lazy or ignorant cultural teaching. youre supposed to treat all of gods creation as pure and good, the prohibition is not to keep you away from the evil dirty piggies but just an injunction on how to live properly as a servant of the Creator
