the thing about the cop demanding that the nurse give him a patient's blood without a warrant was actually worse than it appeared, because the purpose of that was that the patient was injured due to a high-speed chase the cops got into and if they found any evidence of drugs or alcohol it would get the cops off the hook

i haven't decided whether or not this is the classic "overcharge to get the cop off" technique. on the one hand, if you actually want to convict a cop seems crazy to go for anything other than manslaughter based on the history of how every single one of these cases has gone, on the other hand they had a record of the guy saying he was planning to go killin' again. regardless, DTA

if I were the cop who shot Walter Scott in the back I'd be suing my attorney for malpractice for letting me take a life-sentence plea deal instead of going to trial and getting me my inevitable acquittal

After he pleaded not guilty to a murder charge, he waived his right to a jury trial, meaning the ruling was left to the judge.
On Friday, a judge found him not guilty.



hm thats not sus at all, i'm sure the judge has little history of conservative decisions and relationships with the police department

I know ridley scott later claimed that deckard definitely was also a replicant but i don't think that's made clear on screen. The philosophical quandary of "what if Deckard's memories are manufactured too" is another cover for power relations and is basically the "blue lives matter" of the film., in the context of the above,
