this morning i had to basically set up a plan for my family to evacuate from 100 miles away because they didn't take this seriously enough and would likely have been killed in floodwaters
thankfully a friend of mine living a bit higher up than the doomed area my family's house is in agreed to take in our dogs so i could convince them to take the most basic actions towards survival

steel are a bit rubbish when it comes to representing the RAs at u of t ive heard but it could be because they need to save their dues money to support the actual proletariat

a few weeks ago i went to a show and walked a couple miles home on shrooms and stubbed my toe so hard my entire foot is still kind of sore. im going to see if anyone wants to hand out coats and cold medicine to the homeless with me and im terrified of doing it on my own. im also working on a power station.

i spent the evening drinking with some local trots. the King Trot held court over his little baby trots as they cooed and purred about how smart he is. friendly nice people, really eager to make connections with young people by throwing every single other leftist organization ever under the bus. tried really hard to recruit me. they'll be so sad when they figure out i'm tankie scum.

I feel like bourgeois propaganda is more in-your-face when it comes via children's tv programming. For example, almost every single kids show I've seen over the past few months had a plot or subplot or song about how robots are humans' friendly helping pals. Then I'm reading something online later and keep getting the same promoted story suggestions about how 'up to 40%' of current jobs will be made redundant by automation.

Parenthood is otherwise fine. A bit of a grind at times being the primary stay at home parent, won't be so bad now the weather is improving but I was starting to go a bit more crazy than usual being stuck indoors constantly with no adult human company. I'm also taking up lawn bowls soon probably which will provide a couple of hours' socialising on a weekly basis, so that's something.
