yeah they're really running a full-court press on the "blood on your hands" stuff. i can definitely understand being critical of people who'll reverse their position without owning it, but out of the opinion-changers they constantly mock, Rania in particular has been very forthright with public self-criticism -- admitting that she "fell for" the propaganda line, etc. (i may be misremembering, but i could swear i heard her mention in one or another podcast that she had reconnected with Syrian family members who helped set her straight. anyone else know what I'm thinking of?)
anyway, i don't understand the mindset that says it's preferable that someone who admits they fucked up should just drop off the face of the earth rather than do penance and try to undo the harm they caused

sounds like maybe her interview w/ the war nerd?
Meanwhile khamsek was organising anti Syria war protest in the city they both live in.
Kahina of course will not be joining the protest.
She is too busy doxxing those anti war activists safe from her home

The media war against Syria would not be possible without colonial chauvinism. Westerners like to imagine that everyone else in the world is propagandised except them when really they're the most brainwashed people on the planet.
These people are socialised to see the relationship between their own imperialist regimes and the third world as something akin to the relationship between a parent and child. If the child gets out of line, it needs to be disciplined, that's how they think.
They imagine that launching a barrage of missiles at the Syrian Army is akin to spanking an Arab President for being naughty. It never occurs to them that their sympathy is being weaponised for regime change by the brilliant acting performances of Carrie Bickmore and her coconut traitor cohost, Waleed Aly.
Don't let your sympathy serve imperialism.
