today we found a ewe that had been caught in brambles for days, some fucker has been going round locally and opening gates and letting animals out of fields, wouldn't really give a shit about the gate opening as they're not my animals but they let the ewe lambs out into the woods meaning theis one got caught in the brambles and was missed when they were put back in the field. She'd been trapped there for 4 days w/ no food or water so by the time we'd found her she was corpse cold and couldnt stand up, it was -5Cish last night so not pleasant. Anyway the ewe lamb is now in teh barn with some hay + warm water and hopefully will survive the night.

oh, also woke up to find one of the cows had miscarried triplets at 7 months

haha yeah the movie the machinist is one of the few that genuinely gave me chills. mostly because my dad is a millwright, and how that one scene was shot genuinely put a bit of fear in me for him getting maimed.
but trust me, the skills you'll learn greatly outweigh the small risks that can be reduced though careful effort and practice.

life news: the org that employed me is fiscally dead, so i've been just hanging around and working for free to clean everything up until i find something else

just failed to get an administration and policy job at a university org that i've given 6 years of free work (i see a pattern emerging) because their board of confused children want to prioritize "new energy." i predict they will lose their mandatory plebiscite to stay funded this spring, oh well.

went to a women's march today

there were exactly two trump supporters and I shouted obscenities at one for a bit. People convinced me to not bother with him so I stopped. Probably for the best though because later the cops confiscated two knives from the guy, I really think he was hoping that someone would richard spencer him.

Also funny was the fact that guy #2 was trying to goad me into making death threats on Trump, and internally I was like 'thank god I'm a rhizzone poster, I know how this whole murder plot joke thing goes..'
