It was just a lazy choice of words, there are some ridiculous people on twitter who call everyone and everything and each other an op so it's too easy to copy them when you're tired.

Jacobin is in the anti communist left space which is what loads groups including the CIA like to see.

I don't have much time for this perspective, but I might have a few years ago when Jacobin was a fresh new thing and David graebet was part of a big online attack on it and the left for being sexist

You could start sharing mild leftist articles/videos with them and then over time move on to more radical sources of information. One day they'll be like "So what's this Liberation News thing all about?" at which point you can pat yourself on the back.

there's actually been some excellent discussions about this within the lgbt community itself, but for some mysterious reason they don't get much press. i'll ask a friend for some good text sources if i get the opportunity

there's a lot of documented coverage of israeli pink-washing, but YGLBMMV (Your Gay Liberal Brother's Mileage May Vary) as to whether that counts as antisemitic ranting. Palestinian solidarity is the easiest entry point into anti-imperialism for people with a functioning conscience and israel has put a lot of effort into presenting itself as queer friendly (even when in practice it often really isn't!) so it works very well as an example.

Oh i just saw a guy blaming the "infiltrator jews" while glazing the topic and wanted to stay away from that sort of line if it has any prevalence

There's a counterpunch article that starts off ostensibly discussing what I'm looking for but a few paragraphs in it turns into "Why All The Lertters In Your Acronym Homos???" and then from there goes on to talk about how pederasty was acceptable in rome
