lol I can't believe they keep letting him back in the room. Did Matt Lee build up a bunch of cred to allow himself the leeway to ask tough questions? At what point do they just muzzle him? I guess it doesn't matter much since nobody watches these press conferences or cares about foreign policy.

he always struck me as an old school liberal journalist type. so as the email leaks make clear, he plays ball with the administration whenever they want him to publish a friendly story and in return he gets to ask a bunch of tough questions at the press briefings which for them fulfills the ideological appearance of having a free press anyway.
