the main problem with the super nintendo is the resistance onthe electrical load, which causes major power drain in a domestic home from accessories such as the game genie or special controller units like the Super Scope 6 and severely shortens the life of the console. the genesis on the other hand could not only support library-expanding extensions such like the 32x and Sega CD, it had plenty left to power a bevy of third-party controllers & also mods like transparent shells, extra fans, ground effects and tube lighting, so i talk it up over the competition whenever i can. i guess i'm saying that at the end of the day, i'm a neon genesis evangelion
