there's an epub on aaaaaaaaarg of the 2014 edition, not a scan, that retains some of the bolding. everything that's left makes sense though, like there aren't any random ass-bolded words left, just important sentences + paragraphs

i like alternative spellings because if you cant get at the argument of a book because your turned off by a spelling you disagree with you're not really serious anyway. that said i dont use the spelling seriously myself and i understand problems people would have with it. and im not accusing anyone here of being unserious because they have issues with the spellings.

Like i said im p sure Sakai's point is that the few class aware settlers shouldn't double down on trying to start a genuine class consciousness in pig class whites but should join with actual proletarian movements so I don't know if that's necessary... but I could be wrong, tho he says that exact thing like 25 pages into the book so

i keep coming up with shit but it might be a good idea to add further reading to the bottom of each chapter, with stuff written after 1975 or w/e. for instance chapter 3 has a discussion of the haitian revolution, maybe the 'further reading' section should include clr james book and confronting black jacobins? as well as a bunch of newer books like river of dark dreams about the political economy of slavery.

there should also be basic marxist links too, like to introductory material on the national question or the definition of class etc.
