Cuba has always been very clear on their unwillingness to extradite political refugees. Given the somewhat sporadic attention thus far, it's hard to say yet whether this latest 'news' is just a coked up underling speculating to reporters off the record or a dedicated plan as part of a larger psyop against the cuban people.
