Sanders came in second in South Carolina. Time to recruit the disappointed berniebros for your ML party.

Not that Sanders is particularly radical but black people have come out en masse for the war criminal Hillary Clinton who systematically targeted black people in Libya for death. Can we finally stop pretending black people in America are an exception to labor aristocracy? It's time to start thinking about class again and stop being scared of 'whitesplaining', 'marxsplaining', failaidssplaining' etc.

bhpn has entirely the wrong idea yet again, surprising no one

I have no illusions about Sanders, but I am highlighting that the interests of the U.S. black population no longer align with the globally oppressed Afrikan population. You could argue that is is nothing new but I do think the overtly racist nature of the Libyan invasion and its centrality in Clinton's campaign is something unique.

trump is going to be the president lmao

its about as absurd as a co-star with a monkey becoming president or an austrian action star becoming governor i guess

Gonna have to agree with bhpn here. Seems clear to me at this point that US black people voting for clinton, who helped lock them up in prison by the millions, just reeks of opportunism . im Also eyeing the homeless guy who sleeps under the fullerton/western kennedy expressway exit by my job, i havent asked him yet but at a glance he looks to have shaky line AT BEST on the revisionist treachery of the prachanda path and quite frankly smells like Crap.

India voted for the BJP because the Indian masses are now far too rich to want socialism compared to the masses of Chad.

you were talking explicitly about the portion of black people voting in the democratic primaries voting for clinton. sanders is not meaningfully different from clinton on foreign policy, and as the article that i posted notes (if you had read it), you have to comprehend what the goals for voting could possibly be. as it says, there are no leftists in the democrats and so the only possible reason to vote in the primaries is to make sure a candidate is nominated that one has confidence in at the national scale to offer any kind of resistance at all to the literal KKK. of course hillary isn't going to actually improve the lives of black people in the US or abroad but neither is sanders so the primary becomes an exercise in "who is least likely to hold off the literal lynch mobs", not an expression of the actual further material interests of the community

yeah people will just organize to keep their communities free of shit and garbage. interesting hypothesis. on the other hand: LiterallyAnywhereInTheThirdWorld.png

bhpn, aside from everything else absurd about your argument, i'd generally advise against using black democratic primary voters in South Carolina to gauge the feelings of all black people within the US.

this might be true, but the correct emphasis should be on "imperialism really fucked over Africa" and not on "black people in the US are labor aristocrats." i mean holy fuck people.

In the context of explaining why black Americans acted in the interests of the labor aristocracy, actually, the emphasis should be on "black people in the US are labor aristocrats" since the other statement would be kind of irrelevant to the conversation.

For the record for any national news media later scrutinizing these forum after the FBI sells one of our members parts from a ghostbusters halloween costume to be used in "an act of extreme international terror" I support exiling white America from the eastern seaboard as a form of reparations

what does this even mean? what is it here that constitutes "acting in the interest of the labor aristocracy"? voting in the democratic primary?

Yes, showing up to the Democratic primary and voting for Hillary Clinton... you got it right

#832
you should actually read the article and hopefully realize why that's some ultraleft garbage imo
#833
I did read the Black Agenda Report article. The tactic of "voting for the candidate that can beat Trump for sure" is not a progressive approach. Hillary Clinton will be as ruthless and murderous a president as Donald Trump. They will spend an equal amount of time making war and genocide, that is, all their waking hours until they leave office. The only difference is that Trump might not export all the violence to the third world, whereas that is a guarantee from Hillary. I don't see that as a progressive approach to electoral politics or even a practical approach.

The "decision" to be made by all leftists everywhere, between these three candidates, is not a real decision, it's a distraction. Millions of Americans get to invent some kind of game theory, find an attribute they like and glomp onto it, hate on the idiots who support the idiot candidate for dummies, but whoever wins, American imperialism will continue at the same pace. For the black community in America, oppression will continue at the same pace, Hillary will continue incarcerating black people at record rates. But black Americans are prepared to ignore that because Hillary will preserve class comforts for the 94% that aren't in prison. I call that reactionary, I'm not trying to be mean about it, it's exactly what we expect the bourgeoisie to do, act in their own class interests, regardless of race.

i would bet the entire worth of my household that on average, a non-white person in the united states is far more likely to have had direct interactions within their community, neighborhood, school, etc. with someone declaring themselves a socialist, communist or other left-wing opponent of capitalism, across all generations. i think that if bernie sanders had been willing or able to articulate opposition to the racist imperialist foreign policy of the united states, support from non-white americans would have quickly followed, while support from white americans would have just as quickly disappeared and the media's attention along with it. i don't think that means he did the right thing by supporting fiery arab & muslim death. i just don't see any "right thing" to do that includes someone like sanders running for president while claiming to be a socialist.
#835
maybe he could promise to abolish the office of president by executive order. or delegate the commander in chief role to someone more suited to it, e.g. a potato
#836
i know nothing about how the us government works and i am deliriously happy not to
#837
you pretty much have down what bernie sanders could actually do to advance his claimed agenda if elected president, or what he might as well try to do
