yes every time we have a more ineffectual president (and each one is more) it just highlights how the position is a meaningless figurehead who does what he's told is Necessary and power is actually maintained and exercised by people we don't see. which of course everyone knows here at The Rhizzone, but it becomes more obvious to everyone else over time too. hoorawy. so Trump is a good thing. anything that might stir up real anger is good. accelerationism is correct

you're fucking crazy, did you just forget about the last 14 years?

has anyone else been watching the netflix docuseries Making a Murderer? its amazing. basically an entire county of police officers framed a dude for murder, after he had already been jailed for 18 years then exonerated and released for a violent rape he didn't commit, because it looked like he might win a multi-million dollar civil case for the police ignoring evidence that he was innocent of the first conviction, and allowed the actual rapist to be free to rape at least two more women. and the persecutorial tunnel vision all originated from a beef he had with the sheriff's cousin. lmao this poor guy.

im definitely never moving to a small town.

my mom was telling me about that, haha

but like that's great. because it is a little depressing to have decided that the fastest way to improve the western world is to encourage it to self-immolate as soon as possible while seeding the ground for what's to come next. what is the alternative that you've realized, please share

everyone here should have to pick one dark enlightenment belief and add it to their personal ideology. i pick roko's basilisk

It will just become outright fascist / far-right populist in the case of total chaos, the accelerationism you're thinking of is just re-heated ultraleft crap (like situationism etc). It's not just a Western issue either, the entire world shares the same situation of malaise and defeat of left-wing alternatives. The best hope is some kinda revival of protectionist social democracy, but the future probably belongs to the super-capitalists and further hollowing of the state apparatus.

for the immediate future, yeah probably. i think it may take a period of total chaos until the proletariat comes together

i think one difference between us and the bolsheviks is that the labor situation is the dialectical opposite. in 1917 workers were scarce, in ____ workers are abundant

i found it interesting that Russian workers in 1917 were very scarce and very valuable, especially during a world war.

Isn't it possible for accelerationism to lead humanity into a sustainable hell where the new frontier for capital's expansion is seen in unique and exquisite performances of suffering by the proletariat for the benefit of the bourgeoisie petite and grande. New generations and expanding technical marvels bring forth new kinds of sickening performances of master-slave interactions.

For example I ordered a pizza and a very sad looking man (much older but much poorer) came to my door with my pizza not even 20 minutes after I clicked the button on my smartphone and I felt the most sincere shame for having perpetuated a system which stole a tiny bit of a person's life for my most empty pleasure, time more precious than mine due to the likely smaller amount of time he had left.

I have a print of Bosch's Garden of Earthy Delights in my library which I will sometimes stare at for hours - wondering if the right side of the painting will spring to life eternal, and if there is any true escape from the consumption of the meek to perpetuate the delight of sadism in raping the minds and bodies of those who are losing the game.

dont' worry. their next big move is to float people out of the labor force using the ai beginning in 2016. but again, just like cash for clunkers, this is only temporary. it takes nearly 2 years of employment for 6 months of unemployment
