It does such a good job of not actually saying anything political that it was republished by both Jacobin and Slate. Realtalk I don't want to shit on deadken but all this sort of thing achieves is giving the reader, no matter their political persuasion, the self-satisfied feeling of being right to have some kind of opinion, like the smile that creeps across one's face after smelling one's own farts.
