It's a sad fact that Old English has not been updated to include a lot of common words we use nowadays. For example, it's literally impossible to express the thought 'The CIA are the puppet-masters of ISIS' in OE. So my thought is that we here could offer up suitable Old English translations for useful modern words using our knowledge of the language.

If your OE is rusty, check for a word here -> http://www.oldenglishtranslator.co.uk/ and if you can't find it, it's ripe for neologization.

Here's my first...

Muslim = Swearthæðen

Once we have a pretty comprehensive list I'll ask the dictionary to update this with our additions.
