If we're counting deaths by disease, starvation, etc. we can add the 200 million of the Black Plague to the feudal system's death toll etc. oh and slums too, you wouldn't believe how much dirt they ate in AD 473 when they set the Guiness world record

but feudal people didn't know better, whereas capitalism is wholly intentional

let's put it this way *lines up 9 at your favorite college hangout* estimates in a certain time and bounded locality with at least some solid documentation of causes of death put the violent death rate in england in the 16th century at like 15-20%, but in the long run murder and benny hill horsecart maneuvers were lapped repeatedly by a bunch of gout-ridden landowners in floppy hats putting fences around patches of grass

in the ten minutes between my last two posts in this thread i drank more than i had all night. i woke up on the couch this morning with a dvd of Hill 24 Doesn't Answer balanced on my forehead and at some point in between i composed and posted a perfectly coherent white noise post about how a rich chinese man folds his arms and wrote myself a sticky note that says "pierrot le fou pool suicide", which i think is supposed to remind me to watch the sopranos. this must be why we let nofreewill post.

just wanted to step in and say that your guys' posts where you synthesize theories from a bunch of different sources, link articles, etc. are really good and useful for someone like me that doesn't have the time, or really even the skill, to wade through the annals of leftism; i just want to be informed.

i wish everyone could have the same access to something like this in the same way that i do. if there was a zzonE #2 with 100% serious posting that would be amazingly helpful to a lot of people, because afaik no good forum for such discussion exists.
