There are many protests not on your list because they are anti-leftist protests: the Tea Party, pro-life rallies, etc.

So long as you look to the left alone for your protests you are never going to have them critique Islam, because the left has accepted the narrative that Islam is oppressed by the West and therefore deserves constant defense. Anyone who critiques Islam will be called out as a racist imperialist, see: this thread. This is the standard technique the left uses to dismiss valid opinions through bullying, and anyone who continues to fall for it well into adulthood is either a coward or a fool. You are not going to change their opinion on this issue. It is now a matter of leftist doctrine that Islam is under protection.
