when seth rogen compared american sniper to nazi propaganda i instantly thought the interview would've been a better example
#85
uh nazi cinema had many strengths but comedies were not among them
#86
well fortunately the interview wasn't very funny so my point still stands
#87

I just called the CIA and turns out they don't care about a james franco comedy but they want to extend their thanks to american marxists for their continuously successful strategy of defending universally hated incompetent autocracies as long as they preach the right mojo bullshit as to why their people are grass-munching slaves

This is somewhat of a departure from my regular uploads, but today should be an exception to look back at one of the biggest tragedies of modern American infrastructure. As a proud buildingkin (I identify as Родина-мать зовёт! or The Motherland Calls for those out of the loop,) the memories of 9/11 still haunt my dreams. Such beautiful monuments, destroyed in hours… it’s just awful.

So it should come to no surprise I haven’t slept in three days.

The inspiration for this piece came to me at around 4:00AM yesterday morning and took until this afternoon to complete. I was listening to Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In the Free World” and started to notice the similarities between it and my Twin Towers headcanon. It was downright chilling. The lines about never going to school made me think about how Kita-kun and Minami-bō (Trigger Warning: possible headcanon shaming- I visualize the north tower as older than the south tower and both as young boys) had their lives taken and can never feel the joys of childhood and growing up. I had to capture my emotions in that moment, so I pulled out my finest #2 and started working.

If you’re reading this, please tell those important in your life you love them. You’ll never know if today’s your last.

actually the currency revaluation under Kim Jong-un, which destroyed black markets and the hidden bourgeois bureaucrats within the party in a peaceful and effective manner, is one of the most interesting developments in the world communist movements in decades. lucky that no one outside of 1st world ameriKKKans actually buys into anti-DPRK trot propaganda and they can actually learn from the heroic Korean peoples.

Do you have access to the portal machine from Sliders or something where you get these insanely optimistic outlooks from an alternate dimension

noam chomsky says he's going to give a film review, then later says he hasn't actually seen the film but he read a lot of the reviews.

this isn't mentioned even once over the course of 120 posts in this thread.
#108
hey give chomsky a break he's like 92 years old and his wife died
#109
I've never seen the film too and his impression is 100% spot on.

see 18:15 and 50:38

somehow i didn't notice this before but it seems strange how easily Chomsky falls for western propaganda in regards to socialist/progressive countries like Syria or North Korea. for someone who co-wrote Manufacturing Consent and spent decades investigating U.S. imperialism you would think he would be smart enough to figure it out
