i've been listening to a lot of italo disco and it sounds so good that i forget most of it is a product of cheesy low-budget euro pop culture and then i loaded a youtube of italian tv performances of the songs and it was pure pain. like weird robots made from junk and terrible dancing. so i went back to watching the videos where they just show the record cover.

yeah that's an okay song. there are hundreds of italo megamixes on youtube but almost all of them just play the same basic songs. or at least so many of them that you hardly notice the other stuff. so i started listening to stuff sort of in the same era like early house music and HI NRG and such. it's cool. i might buy a record player at a charity shop or something and start looking around, just as a hobby.

edit: this was aimed at glomper_stomper, i'm not going to listen to guitar music, which is obsolete.
